Oasis Academy Byron is driven by a powerful ethos which aspires to treat everyone inclusively and recognises the importance of a holistic approach to education. Central to this is the rich and balanced educational environment nurturing the whole student-academically, socially, morally, spiritually and emotionally. Our vision is to create a welcoming, happy, and safe environment where everybody feels supported, valued, confident and excited to learn.

Our aim is to ensure our students have high aspirations for themselves and for their future.  As a team and community we work towards achieving excellence through encouraging a 'can do' culture which nurtures confident and competent people.  We believe we can achieve this through high quality facilities, outstanding staff, clear leadership, a positive, affirming environment and a partnership between students, parents/carers and the Academy.

The ethos of Oasis Academy Byron include valuing everyone and protecting individual rights, freedom and choice, working actively against discrimination and social exclusion and respecting the beliefs and practices of others. The Academy provides a welcoming environment for students of all faiths, no faith and serves the whole community
