Breakfast club opens from 8:00am and does not have to be pre-booked. At 8:50am Key Stage 2 children are sent to their classrooms independently and Key Stage 1 and Reception children are taken to their classrooms.
The doors are open at 8.45am for the children to go directly into their classrooms and we ask that children do not arrive before this time and be left unsupervised in the playground. Key Stage 1 and Reception children must be taken to their classrooms and collected from the classrooms at the end of the day by named adults.
The Academy opening hours are as follows:
Key Stage 2
8:55am to 12:30pm (break from 10.45am to 11:00am)
1:25pm to 3:20pm (no afternoon break)
Key Stage 1
8:55am to 12:25pm (break from 10:45am to 11:00am)

1:30pm to 3:15pm
Reception children have continuous access to outdoor play and provision.
Registration and late arrival
It’s essential that your child arrives promptly at the Academy because the day starts off with the teacher explaining the day’s learning to the class. Registration in the morning takes place at 8:55 am for all year groups. Afternoon registration takes place at 1:30 pm. Any child arriving more than 5 minutes after these times will be recorded as arriving late. If, for any reason, your child is late, please escort them to the Academy reception office and inform the office staff of their arrival and the reason for their lateness. It is better to come late than not to come at all. Any child arriving after 9:30 am or 2pm will be recorded as an unauthorised absence unless an acceptable reason is given.
Children leaving the Academy other than at official times must be signed out at the main office.
Access to Academy Site
In order to ensure the safety and welfare of all our children, we ask that parents drop off and collect children at certain times. Children enter the Academy via the blue gate, which is open between 8:45am – 9:30am.
At the end of the Academy Day, the blue gate will re-open at 3:05pm to collect children.
Any children who are unable to be collected on time, will be taken to the school office. Please inform school if you are going to be late collecting your child. Children uncollected after 5pm will be transferred into the care of Croydon's Children's Services as required by the local authority.
